Rules & Regulations

Sri Ramakrishna Public School maintains a disciplined, safe, and value-based environment that supports academic excellence and good behaviour. All students and parents are expected to follow the school rules to ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities.

General Uniform Rules

  • Students must wear clean, well-ironed uniforms every day.
  • Shoes must be polished; socks must be clean and of the correct colour.
  • Hair must be neat:
    Boys : Short, well-trimmed hair
    Girls : Hair tied with the prescribed ribbons
  • No fancy accessories, watches for lower classes, jewellery, or cosmetic items are allowed.
  • Students must wear the House uniform and sports dress on designated days.

Fee Payment Schedule

  • School fees must be paid on or before the stipulated due dates.
  • Late payment may attract a penalty as per school policy.
  • Fees must be paid term-wise or annually as instructed by the office.
  • No student will be permitted to write examinations unless all dues are cleared.
  • Receipts should be preserved for future reference.

Discipline Guidelines

Discipline is the foundation of the school’s value system.

  • Students must follow the instructions of teachers and staff at all times.
  • Punctuality is compulsory; latecomers will not be permitted without a valid reason.
  • Students must maintain cleanliness in classrooms, corridors, and campus areas.
  • Bullying, misconduct, damaging school property, or rude behaviour will result in disciplinary action.
  • Respect for teachers, parents, elders, and fellow students is expected at all times.

Code Of Conduct For Students

  • Speak politely and behave responsibly inside and outside the campus.
  • Maintain silence in classrooms and during assemblies.
  • Carry all books and materials required for the day.
  • Avoid bringing mobile phones, gadgets, valuable items, or inappropriate materials.
  • Students must represent the school honourably during events and competitions.

Birthday Policy

  • Students may wear colour dress on their birthday.
  • Distributing chocolates or sweets is allowed only in moderation.
  • No expensive return gifts or celebrations are permitted inside the school.

Performance Report

  • Progress reports will be issued after each assessment cycle.
  • Parents must attend PTMs to discuss their child’s performance.
  • Reports must be signed and returned within the given time.
  • Low performance may require remedial classes or additional practice at home.

Rules for Promotion

Promotion to the next class is based on:

  • Academic performance throughout the year
  • Attendance and behaviour records
  • Examination scores
  • Completion of assignments, projects, and classwork

Students must meet the minimum pass criteria set by the school and CBSE.

Attendance Requirements

  • A minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear for examinations.
  • Absence must be supported with a written leave letter from parents.
  • Long absences require prior permission from the Principal.
  • Students returning after sickness must produce a medical certificate.
  • Attendance is compulsory for assembly, tests, exams, and special events.

Homework Policy

  • Homework reinforces classroom learning and supports regular practice.
  • Students must complete homework neatly and submit it on time.
  • Parents are encouraged to supervise, but not do the work for the child.
  • Repeated failure to complete homework will be reviewed by teachers and parents.
  • Homework diaries/notebooks must be checked regularly by parents.
