To ensure continuous learning and steady revision, the school conducts:

  • Conducted at regular intervals across all subjects
  • Helps students revise concepts and identify areas for improvement
  • Performance is recorded in the progress report

  • Covers larger portions of the syllabus
  • Prepares students for term-end examinations

  • Held twice a year as per the academic calendar
  • Summative evaluation of all concepts taught during the term

Parents receive timely information about dates, syllabus, and guidelines through the school diary and circulars.

Annual Exam System

The annual examination evaluates the complete year’s learning progress. It includes:

  • Written papers
  • Internal assessments
  • Assignments & projects
  • Practical/lab work (for relevant classes)
  • Classwork & notebook maintenance

The annual exam forms an important part of promotion criteria and helps measure overall preparedness for the next class.

CBSE Recommended Pattern

The assessment structure follows the CBSE guidelines with a balance of:

  • Formative Assessment (FA) – regular tests, assignments, activities
  • Summative Assessment (SA) – term exams and annual exams
  • Subject Enrichment Activities – projects, oral work, lab skills
  • Notebook Evaluation – presentation, neatness, regularity

Promotion Rules

Promotion to the next class is based on:

  • Minimum qualifying marks in each subject
  • Overall performance in Unit Tests, Term Exams & Annual Exams

Students must have at least 75% attendance to be eligible for promotion

Behaviour, regular homework, and class participation are considered

Students must complete assignments, projects, and notebooks as required

Promotion decisions are made only after reviewing the student’s complete academic record for the year.
